*All players must know how to play Pokémon GO and have basic knowledge of the rules*
Join us for our 2026 September-November Round 1 GO League Cup!
In order to participate, players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, and be in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program. Players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Player ID attached, and must have opted in to the Play! Pokémon program in order to earn points and prizes.
Format:
-Great-League Challenge; Swiss best of 3
-Check in: 2:00 pm
-Start time: 3:00 pm

This tournament will follow the GO Single Day structure as detailed in the Tournament Rules Handbook. Each round of Swiss will be best of 3, and all rounds of Single Elimination will be best of 3. The number of rounds will be based on number of players in the event. As with all Pokémon GO Championship Series events, this tournament will follow the current regulation set.
Required:
-Pokémon Player ID. If you do not have a Player ID, you can create one at https://access.pokemon.com/.
-You need a 60-card deck in good condition sleeves.
-A filled out team sheet. A blank team sheet can be found at Go Team Sheets. There will be blank team sheets available at the tournament as well.
-You will need a Device that is fully charged and updated.
-Pokémon Player ID. If you do not have a Player ID, you can create one at https://access.pokemon.com/.

8 or fewer players: 3 Swiss rounds
9-16 players: 4 Swiss rounds
17-32 players: 5 Swiss rounds
33+ players: 6 Swiss rounds

-Payment and team sheet due at time of registration. If your team sheet is ready before the event, you can email it to us: events@bytheboardgames.com with the heading "GO LEAGUE CUP ROUND 1" Please make sure to have your Name, Player ID, and Year of Birth on your sheet.
-Please provide your first name, last name, birthday and Player ID.
-Check in starts at 2:00 pm
