Welcome to the BTB Ditto Draft!

When: April 19, 2025 @ 2pm
Where: By the Board Games & Entertainment
Cost: $35 per player
Prizing: 1 Prize Pack + 1 Booster pack of Journey Together + a booster pack per win.
Players who go 3-0 will get a Shining Mew 3d Printed Statue

Each player will receive 4 packs of SV: Journey Together. They will then sit in a pod of 3 or 4 players and draft a 40 card deck. With this deck you will play a number of rounds of swiss based on the number of players.

In a draft event, players will open their pack of cards. They remove the energy and code card then pick one of the cards to keep for themselves. They then pass the rest of the pack to the person on their left. You pick one of the remaining cards from the pack that was passed to you. This continues until there are no cards left. Then you do this again with the next pack, and then pass this pack to the right.

Continue the draft until all four (4) packs have been selected. Players then use their cards and gathered energy cards (more energy will be available) to build a 40 card deck. All basic Energy cards provide all types of energy at once, but only one at a time.

All games will be played with the limited rules, 40 card decks, 4 prize cards, 20 minute rounds.

A rule for Ditto Draft will be:
Once during your turn (before you attack), you may place a Ditto Marker on 1 of your Basic Pokémon that doesn’t have a Rule Box. It gains the following Ability:

Ability: EVOLUTIONARY ADVANTAGE Once during your turn, you may put any Stage 1 or Stage 2 card from your hand onto this Pokémon to evolve it. You can’t use this Ability during your first turn or the turn this Pokémon was put into play. If you put a Stage 2 card onto this Pokémon, your turn ends. Each Player can use only 1 Evolutionary Advantage Ability per turn
