Join By The Board Games for the Magic the Gathering FINAL FANTASY Prerelease Event!

At a Prerelease, the entire store community converges for its very first opportunity to play with new cards. It's also the best opportunity to turn interested friends and family into engaged players! The event will kick off with a Sealed Deck Tournament on June 6, 2025 at 7PM (Registration starts at 6:30PM) 

Participation Fee is $50 and includes special promos as supplies last! If you are new to Magic and would like to learn in time for the pre-release, please visit By The Board Games & Entertainment and ask for a demo!

Players can choose to stay for the tournament or take their prerelease kit home with them to have fun. All participants must sign in with their companion app before receiving their prerelease kit!

Prerelease is your community’s first opportunity to get their hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer, and Prerelease Packs are the perfect product to fuel the first events of this new set.

  • 6 Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY Play Boosters
  • 1 foil, year-stamped Rare or Mythic Rare
  • 1 deck box
  • 1 Spindown die
  • Each Play Booster contains:
  • 14 Magic: The Gathering cards
    • 1-4 cards of rarity Rare of higher
    • 3-6 Uncommon cards
    • 6-9 Common cards
    • 1 Land card (Traditional Foil Land replaces a Land in 20% of boosters)
    • 1 card of any rarity is Traditional Foil; Foil Borderless Mythic Rare in 1% of boosters
